22 Days Ultimate Everest Trek
The Everest Ultimate Trek is one of the most popular and adventurous trekking routes in the
Everest region. This trek provides you with a fabulous experience. You start with a magnificent
flight over the valleys and mountains of the Himaylas to Lukla. You follow the Dudh Kosi
valley to Namche Bazaar. The trail to Gokyo is a gradual ascent up the valley passing through
patches of birch and rhododendron forests where the elusive musk deer can sometimes be seen.
You hike through small yak-grazing settlements on your way to the Gokyo lakes area where
you climb the Gokyo Peak and enjoy stunning mountain scenery including Everest, Makalu and
Cho Oyo. A highlight of this trek is Cho-la pass at 17,388 feet. Once you cross the Cho La pass
you reach Dzongla. The views of Ama Dablam and Taweche are spectacular. After the Zhongla
ascent, you continue towards Gorak Shep and climb to Kala Pattar (18450 feet) from where you
enjoy an impressive up-close view of Everest. You will pass numerous Buddist monuments,
prayer flags and prayer rocks. Your return route passes through Tengboche, a magnificent
location with a fascinating monastery.. Here you can rest and savor the incredible scenery
which includes the magnificent views of Everest, Ama Dablam, Kantega , Kwangde , Nuptse ,
Lhotse and many more trekking peaks of the Khumbu region.
